Our Cafe and Kiosk

The Science Centre has a cafe and kiosk which offer a place to sit, relax and have coffee, a drink, a snack or hot food.

The kiosk serves a variety of hot foods including sausage rolls, pies, pasties, cheese and spinach rolls and spring rolls. During the school holidays a variety of fresh sandwiches and wraps is also available.

Tea, coffee, muffins, slices and cookies are also for sale as well as soft drinks, chips, ice-creams and confectionery. All items are very reasonably priced.

The cafe and kiosk are open every day during the school term between 11am and 2pm . During school holidays and weekends it is open from 11.30am to 2.30pm.

School Use of the Kiosk

Schools often have longer visits to the centre, which may extend through the lunch hour. Schools are more than welcome to use the kiosk especially for drinks, ice-creams, chips and confectionery.

Hot food is available but if a school wishes to have students buy a full lunch, the kiosk staff will need some notice. If you would like students to purchase hot food, please advise of this at the time you book your visit.
