Major Exhibits

New for this holiday is the Interactive Illusions exhibition. All the way from Scitech in Perth we have a selection big and brigh travelling exhibits that all show wierd and unusual illusions.

Do you like to get "hands on"? Our two-storey Exhibit Hall has over 100 interactive exhibits relating to various themes like "The Machine " and "Nanotechnology"

Do you have an interest in astronomy? Visit the BlueScope Steel Planetarium - our Planetarium - for stunning recreations of the night sky - from around the world, from different eras - even from a different planet! The Planetarium also offers exciting laser shows.

If you want to see the real sky up close & personal our Observatory has a powerful telescope and plenty of amazing images from distant galaxies far, far away...

Entertaining Science Shows in the Illawarra Coal Science Theatre explore the more interactive fields of science, whether it be blowing gigantic bubbles, freezing objects or just blowing things up.

School Outreach

Our school outreach program is called Star Trails. Star Trails brings science shows to your school. A high quality portable planetarium is also available which uses the latest full dome projection equipment to create visually spectacular and highly informative presentations.
